I installed ClamAV on TrueNAS 25.04.1. What am I missing?

I’m currently running TrueNAS 25.04.1, and have installed the ClamAV app because “ClamAV® is an open-source antivirus engine for detecting trojans, viruses, malware & other malicious threats”. Cool. I can use an extra layer of protection for my SMB shares.

So, I installed the ClamAV, and… nothing. No web interface, no configuration options. I have my storage configured as follows:

Okay, how do I configure ClamAV to break out of it’s “jail” and scan my TrueNAS box? How do I get notifications? Is there any good guides that I can reference?

In your screenshot at the bottom where it says additional storage is where you will mount the datasets inside your container for scanning.

Type: Host Path
Mount Point: /mydata
Host Path: /Path/To/Dataset/To/Scan

Yeah clamav has no GUI, it runs via a cronjob as far as I know
