IP vs. FQND “web UI” button redirect

Is there a way to get an App “Web UI” button to redirect to a FQDN (ie emby.tank.com) vs. IP address (ie 192.168.0.10)?

I presume it can be done if I’m brave enough to make a custom app out of a regular one, followed by editing the yaml file? Or is this a job for portainer? Any tips would be appreciated!

I would propably do it by creating a new local only router in traefik.

Not sure, as I’ve never done it myself. But in the /mnt/.ix-apps/app_configs/{APP_NAME}/metadata.yaml there should be a Portals --> WebUI option. You can try to change it.
