I am trying to set all of my TrueNAS SCALE systems to operate IPv6-Only.
There seem to be several problems regarding that, as several iXsystems hosted core web services are not available via IPv6. There simply is no AAAA record present, so there is no possibility to resolve the hostname to be used, therefore the connections fails.
This harshly contradicts this statement: TrueNAS Facilitates the Transition to IPv6-Only
When will these core services be IPv6-(re-[?])enabled?
Are you a home user or a business?
We do resolve these issues for Enterprise customers but they require professional support.

But is full IPv6 support so far fetched to be normal in 2024?
Is this on any roadmap for non enterprise users?
I would be very happy to see full IPv6 support in SCALE.

IPv6 is fully supported in 24.10 and certified by UNH.
This is apparently not true.
At least the update URL (update.ixsystems.com) cannot be resolved via IPv6-only, therefore neither 24.10 nor 25.04 are fully supporting IPv6.
