Link Aggregation with HP-Switch

Hello,

I have a Link Aggregation to my TrueNasCore 13.0-U6X to an HPE-1920 and think it could be a easy way go, make the same with TrueNasScale 24.10.1… but no way I have attempted every possible option on the NAS without any success. Should Link Aggregation not be an Mainfunction that have to work in a stable Version?

Link aggregation works just fine in 24.04; I admit I haven’t tried it on 24.10 (because I’m only running it in a VM). But “I have attempted every possible option without any success” is a useless error report, so I don’t think I can give much to help.

Works as intended with a Mikrotik CRS326-24G-2S+IN here.

Nice, but I use HPE and I can send you the same Picture, and dosn’t meen that it work for the Switch, on the HP i get a message on the Trunk that “not conf… properly” or so and with the TruhNasCore it worked, I haven’t tested it on 24.01 because it’s marked as old stable.

And after this, I have to test this on own Hardware, the trust is gone.

What is the hash and the LACPDU rate set to on the HP side? Do they match the configuration on the TrueNAS side?

The hash is not created…the switch says “The port’s configuration is improper for being attached” there are to divert kinds to select by creaton on the HPE Static (LACP Disabled) and Dynamic (LACP Enabled) thats it. Viewing the Manual of the Switch …supports IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP)…and “Customizable features include basic Layer 2 features like VLANs and link aggregation, as well as advanced features such as Layer 3 static routing,…”
