Problem / Justification
There isn’t currently a way to add custom links to the TrueNAS dashboard. A simple Link card would let users add shortcuts to documentation, service UIs, or other resources without relying on increasingly dangerous vibe-coded dashboard applications.
Impact
Makes the dashboard more useful by giving users a central place for commonly used links. While allowing HTML or custom links could raise security concerns, those can be mitigated through sanitization.
User Story
As an administrator, I want to add a Link card to my dashboard so my guest users can quickly access documentation, web interfaces, and other resources from one place instead of maintaining a separate dashboard. (ex. I can add a Google Docs link)
