Lost one disk capacity after pool expansion on ElectricEel 24.10.0

I recently upgraded Truenas Scale to ElectricEel-24.10.0 and added one disk (12.73 TiB) to the existing pool of 4 x 12.73 TiB disk. After the disk extension, it ended up with only 36.87 TiB usable capacity. It should have been 50.92 TiB. (5 -1) x 12.73 = 50.92 TiB. It seems I have lost the disk that I added.

The topology is showing:

Data VDEVs: 1 x RAIDZ1 | 5 wide | 12.73 TiB

The storage system is showing green for all, topology, usage, ZFS health and disk health. Any idea?

24.10 RC2 Raidz expansion caused miscalculated available storage

I have a server with 6x18tb (16.37TiB) drives in RAIDz2, and due to hardware limitations, needed to start with 4 drives and expand later. Using 24.10 RC2, I extended my vdev twice, and during the second vdev expansion, I rebooted the system (as zfs documentation said it was safe to reboot during expansion, and I had a need to reboot). After all expansion was completed, it seems like the usable capacity value wasn’t updated to properly reflect the new capacity. [image] I did try the zfs rebal…

@stux “sudo zpool status data” shows expansion is still in progress, 78% done. UI doesn’t show anything, strange! Thanks!

@Stux Finally expansion is complete. I have 46.13 TiB now. Thanks!
