Main pool file location missing after restart

yesterday i installed a new network card and 2x new 1 TB ssds.

currently the servers primary use is game servers for friends. still testing the waters with other software like frigate.

just a heads up, ive only been using truenas for a few weeks so it might be something really simple. any help is appreciated.

after install i had quite a few problems i was able to overcome besides one.
it seems everything stored inside SMB is not visable to any service or through file-browser.

middlewared.service_exception.CallError: [EFAULT] Failed retreiving USER quotas for pool1

after a bit of digging ive discovered i cant access the file system ACL for the pool.

all i get when i try to edit the ACL is “Call error, file path does not exist”

any help at all would really be appreciated c:

I suggest first removing all the new stuff and seeing if things come back

Whilst that is a pain, i can try that. Is there nothing we can possibly find from the error messages above? Is there any reason it might be doing this?

Did you define the pool using the CLI at any point?
Oh and I would remove the disks, not the network card initially - removing a NIC can be a real PITA

just removing the disks fixed everything, thank you!

the quuestion is, how do i add my 2 new drives without the same thing happening again?

i have 3 or 4 spare sata ports. before i plug them in, is there maybe a setting i need to change or something that needs configuuring?

There isn’t a TrueNAS Setting. On the dell OTOH - I have no idea
