Building a new TrueNAS Scale box, starting from scratch. Planning to run a few VMs. Having an issue with HomeAssistant – for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to import the image provided by HA people into Incus. In HyperV, there’s an option to just supply the root disk as part of VM creation, and HA conveniently has a vhdx option. Works like a charm. In TN 25 the only possibility seems to be to import an existing ZVOL, or install the OS from an installation CDROM ISO, neither of which I have. Looking at Incus docs, creating a new VM while importing a root disk seems possible using incus-migrate, but that is not available in TN, and the binary I grabbed from the Incus repo didn’t work…
Am I missing something, or am I really stuck here?
