[Moved to Roadmap] Automatic app update

Problem/Justification
Today apps need manual intervention to update. As for example with the latest warning of updates to the Plex application access to the box is now needed to perform the update. An option to toggle eiter on each app or for all apps to enable automatic update, with choosable update timne or window would be great.

Impact
This update will of course have the possibility to break apps during and update, so this should be a toggle that users who accept that risk can choose to toggle

User Story
For me and probably other security aware users the option to always update appications as soon as possible or at a set time/window would be great.

I would also appreciate such a feature, but the “per app toggle” seems a must to me for using such a feature.

Please add selective auto-update feature! Any other SW on earth has it… thanks

Great news! This feature request has been transferred to our internal roadmap for detailed scoping and assessment.
