NFS share and IP binding

No option to bind an NFS share to specific ip address. How can I resolve it ?
Currently on 25.10 RC1.

The NFS service can be bound to specific IP addresses local to the TrueNAS host.

The individual share can be locked to certain client IP addresses or networks.

But the drop down menu shows no options although I want to bind it to my local machine.

What is “local machine” in your case? Your desktop/laptop or your TrueNAS host?

My desktop

Are you using DHCP? Generally, we require static addresses in order to bind to the IP. We had a lot of tickets in the past when users would bind to a DHCP address and immediately file a bug report when their server’s IP address changed and NFS was bound to the old IP.

You cannot bind the NFS service to your desktop. The service settings in your screen shot refer to the TrueNAS host.

To limit access to your desktop navigate to the share you are setting up, click on “Advanced options”, and then put the IP address of your desktop into the “Hosts” field at the bottom.
