Hello Guys,
Is there any option to check NIC and HBA temperatures? The NIC is from Intel (X550-AT2) and the HBA is LSI 3008. If not from the GUI, then from shell or something could definitely work.
Any ideas are super welcomed!
Thanks

Anyone?
This may help for the HBA. I don’t think anyone is tracking it and just follows the 200 Linear feet per minute air flow rule.
Not every NIC and HBA have temp sensors, so you’d first have to find out if your hardware has temp sensors. If they don’t its almost impossible to measure temps…
almost?
I remember in the old days one of my first gaming pcs had a fan control for a 3.5" drive bay with temp sensors you could glue to components… if you can still buy those you can techically try and get temp readings from them xD
Which would be adding temp sensors to your hardware!

Or he could do what i did, just slap a small noctua fan on it let it run at 50-60% at all time and don’t worry about it
Yeah, did that and now the temps are 45-48c at full load.
I used ethtool -m enp7s0f0 for my X550-T but this returns to an error:
netlink error: Input/output error
