Optimizing Data Storage and Integration Between TrueNAS and SAP Fieldglass Systems

Hi everyone,

I’m testing an integration where SAP Fieldglass exports data to TrueNAS through an SFTP setup. Everything works, but performance drops during larger syncs, especially when multiple users trigger exports at once.

Before I start adjusting caching or NFS settings, I wanted to check if anyone here has fine-tuned TrueNAS for similar enterprise data workflows. Any tips on improving read/write performance or network stability would be really helpful.

While studying for the C_TFG61_2405 certification exam, this real-world scenario came up while going through some practice tests from Pass4Future. It made me curious how others manage storage optimization when SAP systems are involved.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Is the work load reliant on a sync transfer, and if so, does your pool feature a fast SLOG device?

Some hardware details and pool setup info would likely help the rest of us polish our crystal balls. :joy:

Shhh…
