i need more sata plug for my optiplex but i need something reliable for a raid is there something that can help me and can be compatible with optiplex 990?
LSI 92xx HBA for HDD’s
LSI 93xx HBA for lots of SSD’s
Make sure its an HBA and not a MEGARaid card. Note that some MEGARaid cards can be cross flashed to an HBA (not sure which ones)
do you have any example in SATA and not SAS cause i dont find any
Not sure what you mean by this.
You can connect SATA drives to a 92 or 9300 series HBA. You just need the proper breakout cable.

Never a “RAID” card, and preferably no “SATA” as well: A SAS HBA.

The other way around: SAS is compatible with SATA.
A SAS controller does SATA. A SATA controller cannot handle SAS drives.
