Photoprism won't index images

Can’t get Photoprism to index my images, tried different things. It will index and display images I upload to it but not the already existing ones.

It will also re-index the folder + files I uploaded in a previous installation.

In the installation configuration I set:

  • Photoprism Originals Storage to my folder of choice mnt/pool01/family-memories as per the screenshots below
  • Used ID and Group ID are set to 568 (default)
  • I already tried to also tick the box for ACL and give full control to 568.
    What am I doing wrong?!

PS: I noticed the logs are showing permission denied entries in the logs
