Poll: Why do you use VMs on TrueNAS?

Here is a great example of a user who saw immediate power-savings by ditching their VM. Yes, they moved from Core to SCALE, but I believe the VM was likely the main reason why power consumption was notably higher before.

I was running a VM in my previous setup to host containers, so switching enabled me to no longer need this VM and run the containers natively. I believe that this may be a big part of the benefit I am seeing. My power consumption reduced by about 29%!!! I went from using 60 kWh to 42 kWh per month.
