Hey guys. I have two Scale version 25.04 servers. I would like to do rsync between some datasets, but in the scale version there is no option to activate the correct rsync in the services? I’ve seen tutorials but they are based on the core version and I can’t find the option to activate rsync in services in the scale 25.04 version. Is there any other place or is it only via the app?
I have never used the rsync app.
To do it in Truenas:
Go to Credentials → Backup Credentials and set up the ssh connection and key pair there for the remote connection.
Then go to Data Protection → RsyncTasks and create a task. Under Remote Pick Mode → SSH, Pick Use Connection from the Keychain, Set the remote path, options, etc.
On source side set the name, source path, direction, etc. needed.
