Did somebody setup RustDesk after set it up on Truenas?
Trying to use it, but no way to find the whole picture to set it up correctly
You need to be more specific. Where exactly are you trying to setup RustDesk?
I’m assuming a VM?
Not exactly. I’m trying to setup the RUSTDESK Server that is installed as an APP in TrueNAS Version 25.04
But I found no way to access and setup anything
I don’t really use the rustdesk server, but as far as I know, it is simply a relay that forwards connections and nothing more. There are not really any settings to set. Most of the settings are on the machine that actually hosts the actual rustdesk daemon.

I’ve been using the RustDesk server for months now, regularly updating it, and it’s working great.
My TrueNAS Scale is ElectricEel-24.10.2.2.
All in all, Docker installation for RustDesk is straightforward, but before that, you need to have specific ports opened. Afterward, clients (users from their laptops, smartphones, etc.) need to have their RustDesk network settings adjusted, with the correct IP/domain and a unique key that you extract from the server’s RustDesk app.
In my case the unique key is located at “/mnt/.ix-apps/app_mounts/rust-desk/data”
You can show it with a command “cat id_ed25519.pub” and then paste it in the client’s RustDesk network settings.
