I am moving systems to create a replication location and to move my RAIDZ1 to a RAIDZ2. My source system was built on 24.10.01 and upgraded to 24.10.02. I have an 8 disk ZFS pool and I am running nextcloud and channels-dvr as apps.
When I look at my file system on the source system, I have a directory in /mnt called .ix-apps and this directory does not appear on the new source system (blank Truenas 24.10.1 system).
I replicated the entire /mnt/pool system from source->target using replication tasks of a full pool snapshot and all the data shows up on the other side, except .ix-apps. Once I import my pool, docker freaks out on the new system about not being able to locate anything in /mnt/.ix-apps. I have tried rsyncing /mnt/.ix-apps over to the target (I do get some permissions error) but I am unable to get the application system to come up correctly (like docker will not run). Am I missing something, or do I need to delete the apps off the source and recreate them on target after the pool is imported? I am also unclear as to why Truenas would be putting things in the /mnt directory instead of in my pool.
If there is no easy answer, I am in the process of doing this from scratch as some of my “problem solving” broke things more. Once done I can post specific errors, etc.
