Your post reads like you want an updated tool tip / help bubble. Simple items like that are for feedback.
Try viewing the Feature Request category and look at the top voted, open items (no padlock). Those are usually good examples of FRs. Forum members have committed their limited votes to those issues. TrueNAS staff is using the voting system to triage the items. Items with no or low votes, usually get closed.
TrueNAS as a company puts priority on Enterprise customer requests as that is where the money comes in to pay for staff, etc. Community Edition items are lower and they have to decide if the FR is worth the development time or if it benefits Enterprise.
You should be able to filter out the closed items but I just left it a simple link
You can bring up the FR category and view items you have your votes tied to. Adjust your votes to what you think are the top FRs. You can unvote an issue. I think they will start back with a quarterly review of the issues and accepting or closing issues to free up votes next year. They have been pretty busy with all the CVEs and the changes to a yearly release model.
The community hates it. So to keep thinking it is the best thing since sliced bread is not a sensible position.
Remember when windows 8 removed the start menu because they thought it was brilliant and did not listen to their audience, everyone hated the OS.
I understand enterprise makes TrueNAS the money but the community tests the platform, makes suggestions and recommends fixes so please don’t class it as a second class of user, we are a different part of the machine and just as valuable.
