Suppressing 'boot-pool' is consuming USB devices warning

My NAS is based on an Asrock X570D4I-2T and I am using all 8x SATA ports for an 8 drive RaidZ2 array and the NVME slot for VM storage.

Since I have no other ports available, I am using an USB to SATA adapter that supports UAS + a motherboard USB header to 2xUSB-A port converter to attach a Samsung EVO 850 (old but works fine) internal SSD drive and use it as the boot drive.

The system works fine, but I keep getting the ‘boot-pool’ is consuming USB devices warning. I understand why it is there, but given this is not me running the system on a USB stick that is going to fail due to the workload and that I really have no other option, it just gets in the way.

Any way to do so?

Where are you seeing this warning?

What version of TrueNAS?

I’m seeing the warning in the notification center.

Truenas is Scale Dragonfish 24.04.2.2

If you click the “bell” (notification) icon, and then click the cogwheel, does it take you to the “Alert Settings”?

From here, can you find and disable this particular warning?
