I’m looking to spin up Navidrome. It has a ‘Music Storage’ storage configuration entry, where it expects the user to point to the music library.
Looking into things I found out that Navidrome doesn’t support multiple sources for the music library, only one single folder. Apparently the solution to this is to use symlinks.
I don’t have a problem with this per-se (for Navidrome’s sake, it is a bit weird to not enable multiple sources, but hey, who am I to judge). The question I have is how to do it properly TrueNAS/ZFS wise? I have a ‘music’ dataset in my Navidrome apps dataset and could symlink the music folders to there. I tried it with a soft link, but can’t navigate to the music files that way.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I attempt a different way of doing things? Moving the library around is not a solution at this point as it would break everything else.
