The Web interface could not be accessed by truenas scale

Hello, everyone, so we have a GIGABYTE Motherboard GA-B760M DS3H, and we installed the TrueNAS scale on it, but it shows that the web interface could not be accessed. We tried installing a different OS (Windows) to check whether it is a hardware failure, but no, the internet is working just fine. Yet the TrueNAS detects no network interface. Does anyone have any solutions for this?

There isn’t nearly enough information of your hardware to give a detailed reply, but for starters, have you:

  • got a suitable cable plugged in to a known working network port on the board

  • told the TrueNAS installation the correct IP address for your network router’s DNS, and choosing the right subnet?

  • told TrueNAS to look on the same port where the cable is plugged in

okay, so the cable is cat-6 and the thing is during installation, I didnt see any setup to choose IP address. But i can say you that in the truenas shell, ip a resulted in only ‘lo’ details. The truenas absolutely detected no network interface.

This likely uses the RTL8125 chipset which AFAIK doesnt work yet on Truenas 25.
