However when I upgrade to Dragonfish-24.04.1.1 my Thunderbolt drives are not detected, anything changed in these updates thats resulting in this behav…

There are links to download nightly builds here Software Releases | TrueNAS Documentation Hub . When you get to the Storj downloads page, you can control+F 2024062 to find the most recent nightly.

I am not going to run the actual cluster, just want to test if the issue is resolved.

I am using OWC Thunderblad and it works fine in 23.10.2. When I updated to 24.04.2 the TrueNAS Scale cannot see my disks at all via gui or cli. Is there a bug open for this? @shwet did you get the OWC Thunderbolt working?

It works with 24.04.0 - but not with any newer releases, there is no bug because thunderbolt is not officially supported and devs will not fix it.

Thank you for the confirmation @shwet . That is unfortunate. Interestingly the OWC ThunderBlade works using the 24.04.2 with HP Elite Mini 800 G9 12th gen intel CPU. It does not work with Intel NUC 12th gen CPU.

I think you mean 13th gen its not working, but its a good find.
