If the underlying issue is time drift, you may have a similar issue to mine where I could not get ntpd to sync the TrueNAS server clock to the Active Directory domain controllers. I ultimately gave up and wrote a script to sync the time via ntpdate, and created init/cron tasks to run the script on startup and every few minutes. I’ll link to the information below:

Problems getting ntpd to work

For the sake of posterity, here is the script and startup/cron tasks I use to keep the time in sync with our Active Directory domain controllers. The first time the script is run (on startup), it stops ntpd and steps the clock via ntpdate. On subsequent runs (every 5 minutes), it slews the clock via ntpdate.
