TrueNAS Core and Proxmox NFS 4.2

Hey,
I mounted a TrueNAS NFS Share in my Proxmox Server. I selected NFS 4.2.
Mounting was successfull and I can access the NFS share.

To be safe, I want to check what NFS version my TrueNAS Core server is running.

By typing rpcinfo -p in the shell of TrueNAS core, I see following output:

program vers proto port service
100003 2 tcp 2049 nfs
100003 3 tcp 2049 nfs
  • Does this mean NFS is running in version 2 and 3?
  • If so, why was the mounting of the NFS share successfull in Proxmox?
  • In Services → NFS I checked the box “Enable NFSv4”
