TrueNAS Scale Cannot Update

Hello,
When I try to update after a while it times out with the following error:

I live in the Azores which is part of Portugal.
That would explain why it worked back in June and I have made no changes sine then and now it doesn’t The error does seem to indicate that it cant access the update server address.
My US bank blocks me from their website for the same reason. I was ably to get around it with a VPN but then they blocked that also.

The Problem is, that if you’re using apps on truenas they’re als affected by the blockage
