Edit: Explicitly setting netdata as owner using chown seemed to do the trick. This should probably be handled or at least mentioned in the installer when using host path.

Thanks for the tip!!! I had pretty much the same issue installing immich on 24.10 RC2. Same fix - manually change Dataset owner to netdata.

It was not obvious to me AT ALL what the issue was, or how to fix it, other than I knew it was something around the dataset permissions.

Immich on EE 24.10

Trying to install immich on EE 24.10 EC2… I am using pre-created datasets for the folders. Everything seems to work EXCEPT the postgres folder. If I use the pre-created dataset folder for that I always get the error below. If I allow the system to create its own data set (ixVolume) at install time, it works OK.
