Truenas Scale Failed to sync TRUECHARTS catalog

Well I would wait for EE at the end of the month… it may solve this issue as it will remove that CAT

The one you can’t delete is the one that isn’t called TrueCharts; it’s called TrueNAS–that catalog is installed by default and can’t be removed.

Well, some forum old-timers would probably recall that Ornias, who started TrueCharts, would routinely dress down anyone who wasn’t a Helm/Kubernetes subject matter expert. I see he treated his users with as much respect moving forward. :grimacing:

Hmmmm…perhaps this is a different alert then for a different catalog.

Failed to sync TRUENAS catalog: [EFAULT] Network activity “Catalog(s) information” is disabled

Is there a way to get rid of this alert?

Thanks

This seems to have come back for me. I can find the catelogue trucharts to delete. I’m not as experienced as most of the folks here but am s fairly tech savvy… in my day job i configure platforms to manage comms and data transformations and integrations. Tried to follow the steps above to find and remove.

I recommend you make your own thread and provide your details there, like TrueNAS version and so on.

I know this is an old thread, but I didn’t find an answer that helped me get rid of this error after upgrading to ElectricEel. I failed to read that catalogs like Truecharts wouldn’t automatically migrate or that there were issues with that catalog. It was gone when I updated to Eel, but I still got the error every day. I had to boot into the boot environment of an earlier version, 23.10.2 on my server and delete the Truecharts catalog there. Then I booted back into Eel and don’t get the error anymore. I hope this helps someone in the same spot.
