Truenas-scale support for Intel® I219V, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller

I’m seeking assistance with the onboard Ethernet adapter on my ASUS PRIME Z270-A motherboard after a fresh install of TrueNAS SCALE 25.04.2.4.

“The network interface could not be accessed”

The Problem: My network connection is completely down. Crucially, there are no link lights (no green or amber activity lights) on the motherboard’s Ethernet port or on my router/switch when the cable is plugged in. This strongly suggests the Network Interface Card (NIC) is not being detected, initialized, or is missing the proper driver/firmware.

Hardware/Software Details:
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z270-A
Onboard NIC: Intel I219-V (This is a common onboard NIC.)
TrueNAS Version: TrueNAS SCALE 25.04.2.4 (Linux-based)

In your place i would first check if the nic Is being initialized at all, not at os level.
Check if the lights blink at least on power on -post, if not the problem Is elsewhere.
If not, first thing ensure Is enabled via BIOS, also try another cables
