Hello everyone been a decenlty long Truenas user but having an issue with a borked upgrade. Was on Scale 24-10 and upgrading to 24-10-2 and it is hangin on boot . Importing ZFS root pool ‘boot-pool’ . So I did fresh install on the dell boss card (two 250GB) nvme, removed all the Zvol drives from enclosure and same issue. But when I install a lower subset of scale install works but of course can’t import backup and sed key. Any help would be greatly appreciated. While this is home lab use I am a little gun shy now of upgrading our datacenter to scale.
Just tried 25 branch failed again with boot-pool, no bueno
8th re-install keep getting cannot import ‘boot-pool’ : no such pool available on fresh installs. WD 240 nvme boss cards…
I think you may need to give full hardware and software details or post detailed screenshots or console messages as you go along.
If you can’t post those, browse some other forum threads and complete the Bot tutorial so your forum trust level goes up. Links and such should be allowed after that.

That’s a curious card, is it in RAID 1 mode?
The H730 isn’t idea either, but likely unrelated to the specific issue you’re posting about.
