I will have 12 hdd. I have 10 but 6 wonât work 4 problem hdds from this issue and 2 that are plugged into the motherboard. The 2 that are plug into the motherboard donât show up normally or only 1. I only had 1 time where all 10 hdd showed up. Can you help me with this problem?

What command?
Did I miss what model of hard drive is failing to work? That is a key part of this problem. And why having these drives connected would stop the system from shutting down is a bit crazy.
When you tell TrueNAS to shutdown, how long do you wait before you press the power button? I would give it 30 minutes and then call it a failure, but if it shuts down before 30 minutes then we now know something is trying to be shutdown and likely timing out.
The 8GB RAM is the absolute minimum for TrueNAS. If you are running anything other than bare TrueNAS (no jails/vm/etc), it is just a server for iSCSI, SMB, etc, we need to know that as well.
Iâm on travel so I canât look it up but in the Reports section you should find a thing called SWAP. The MAX value should be 0 or not more than 200k, if it is, then you ran out of RAM space and this can cripple your system without more RAM.
Some hard drives have unique power connectors and while your problem is most likely not related to that, knowing the drive model can help here.
Add more details. I realize this is new to you, we will just need to be slow about it. We would like your experience to be a good one.
If you do not understand a command, ask about it. You should do what you can to understand what you are doing. Itâs not magic, however to a new person it feels a bit like magic.

Thanks so much. All the drives have the same connector. Also I think it is a I/O failure. When I tried to reconnect the pool the 4 HDDS are connected to it alway said a I/O failure. It was weird one day the pool just showed up in my pools. I hope this helps!
Also I donât think it is a ram thing. When I am in UI (after taking those drives out) I look at the ram usage it always 0-1%.
I replied to a specific post where you had posted selected output from a command youâd run. I believe itâs the only command youâve run at the request of someone here.
I ran the command but thanks also there server wonât shut down it been like 40-50 minutes. It tells me the uptime like normal but then does nothing.
