Unable to extend boot-pool

I would like to add another SSD to mirror my boot pool. When I go to System Settings > Boot > Boot Pool Status and try to add the drive, there is no “Attach” option. “Replace” is the only option available. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m assuming you saw this:

  • Capacity: The new device must have at least the same capacity as the existing device. Larger capacity devices can be added, but the mirror will only have the capacity of the smallest device. Different models of devices which advertise the same nominal size are not necessarily the same actual size. For this reason, adding another device of the same model of is recommended.

Yes, both are identical brand, model & size.

Anyone know how to do it via command line since the GUI seems to be a bust?

bump

Honestly, the process of saving your config file, installing the new SSD and reinstalling the TN OS seems the fastest to me. May be not the most ‘pro’ approach’ but the install and reupload of the config file to the TN appliance is a matter of minutes.

Yes, that worked. Back up and running in 10 minutes or so. Should have thought of that. Thanks!!!
