Tried for several months to migrate to scale.
Currently running CORE in an ESXI VM with direct passthrough PCIE HBAs. Not using flash, just std vhd from ESXI.
Clean install of SCALE Dragonfish 24.04.2.5, as new VM working as expected.
Attempt to “migrate” using load config from my Core 13.0U6.7 setup.
Successfully accepts the config, reboots, but then interface never returns. reporting middleware is not running. Press Enter to open shell.
Noticed that the nic interface is DOWN upon reboot.
Running dhclient restored this. but does not persist through reboot. (there was no nic issue or issue accessing web interface before the config load migration)
boot log first complains about ix-update.service failed to launch
syslog is full of middlewared sqlite3.OperationalError: no such column: system_settings.stg_guiallowlist errors
Confirmed with DB Brower that that column is missing from the config tar db file.
This seems similar to a report from about a year ago that was reported as fixed. Not sure if this has creeped back in.
