Just updated my truenas scale v24.04.2.3 to v24.10.0 just fien, no errors
then I expanded my 12 10TB disks zvol raidz2 by 1 new 10TB disk and wait it to say it have finished its job since…
began at 07h41 this morning and still at 25% at 12h46…
is it normal ? or else ?

What is the output of
sudo zpool status ?
Does the % increase or has it been stuck at 25% for a long time?
Take a look at zpool status, but keep in mind that you’re looking to redistribute blocks across 130 TB. I’d expect that to be a pretty lengthy process.

the result is … 12.98% done 4 days 2 hours to go… OUAC! long 
dunno why the jobs display still says ‘pool attach running done 25%’ since the beginning btw.
ho, btw, should I let it alone the four days next till it says finisehd or can it be used as usual (copying stuff of it or read from ) ?
and, btw2, the zvol size show no increase yet, I think it will when it has done all the job attaching the drive ?
You can use it just fine.
Old data will be read. I think new data will have the new parity ratio (although, I’m really not sure)
You just can’t add another disk until the current expansion is complete.
