UPS Loading issue

There is this new issue that started just last night. My network realtek network card on the Asus Z87-A Motherboard suddenly kept connecting and disconnecting repeatedly, and I didn’t understand what was happening and had lost remote control of the TrueNAS Server. I tried to plug a screen into it but didn’t get a video out. My last resort, which isn’t my favorite, was to tap the power button on the case that the server lived in. I powered it up again and the network connection had been restored thankfully. Later that night I had taken a USB PCI card out, but thought that I may need it so I tried reinstalling it into the server, and noticed I was having a connection refuse error regarding the Battery Backup for the server, I then thought maybe the USB card was causing and issue and I removed it once again, but the issue persisted. Then I read about restarting the UPS service, and now I have to keep stopping and starting the service for the UPS every time TrueNAS Core finishes starting up. I do have a backup of my TrueNAS Core Config from the last time TrueNAS had an update, and I was wondering if it’d be a good idea to reupload that config to the server and see if it fixes whatever errors I may have accidently caused my server. I wanted to ask before I did any more to it. Please let me know and thank you!

Example of current errors I am getting.

I am also using a Cyber Power 1350AVRLCD, which has worked just fine until all this strangeness.

EDIT: I went ahead and reloaded the config that was last known good, the server seems to be ok for now. But I’d like to understand still what this error means for future troubleshooting. So please educate me! Thank you.

EDIT 2: I am still having issues with this stupid error. I’ll state again, I am using a Cyber Power 1350AVRLCD. Can someone please help me with this because I don’t want to be dealing with this issue. It’s honestly starting to piss me off now.

And now for some really odd reason, Services is using all of my system Ram. Do I need to reinstall TrueNAS Core and then reupload my config? I feel like some horrible has gone wrong.

Power down everything, disconnect the UPS. Power the computer directly from wall outlets. Is your TrueNAS Core working normal? Have you done a power test on the UPS to see if the battery is good and working properly?

I can send data to and from the server just fine. The UPS Service was still enabled by default until I switched it off, it’s plugged directly into a wall outlet for testing. What should my next step be? Also, it just seems to be the USB connection that’s really bugging out. Otherwise, getting power from the UPS is stable. This was before disconnecting from the UPS Power, it’s been fine. I am testing it the way you suggested. Still want to know what my next step should be.

EDIT: I power cycled the Battery backup, turned it off and on again, plugged the server back into outlet for battery, powered on the server, and since TrueNAS doesn’t have a commandline to test the battery backup, I unplugged the battery backup from main power, and TrueNAS saw it lost power, then plugged it back into main power to which then TrueNAS saw Line Power came back online.

I don’t know if power cycling the battery backup did something? I also plugged back in the USB card and plugged the UPS back into the same port it was before all of this mess happened.
