Very very slow docker extract after pull

As the title suggests, I can’t update any of my larger apps(immich/home assistant) via web interface due to a 10min timeout. I have to do a manual docker pull, the download is normal but when it comes to extracting it takes a very very very long time. Any idea on what I could do? My apps are stored on a samsung 980 ssd and it’s kinda weird.

Running on a i3-14100, 16Gb ram, don’t mind the rsync task, it takes the same with or without it :slight_smile:

I’ve come here to say the same.

I see VERY slow times on docker image extraction and even re-creation of a container.

I’ve seen upwards of 5-7 minutes on a re-creation of the grafana-render container and other various ones as well.

Is there any tuning we can do to speed this up by chance?
