Can someone please help me trying to figure out why updating apps takes forever. Running Truenas 25 Goldeye. Nextcloud, Jellyfin, Immich, and Collabora all take an insane amount of time to update. Apps are installed using web gui and also applying updates using web gui. Sometimes after nearly 15 to 20mins installs great and other times it says app update failed, however when i re update or restart app it runs as normal.

Immich and especially nextcloud are big apps that take time to begin with. Downloading plus starting. You can go find them on docker hub and see how big they are.
Still, many times DNS is at fault or your connection isn’t stable. 500mb fiber tells me nothing about your isp, could be a lot of bad packets leading to corrupt downloads. Despite everything here looking perfect, lately, I have gotten a few bad isos that I seed, so I have started running checksums against them…
Lastly, since you are new to TN, you don’t have to update every app every time. Unless it’s a feature add, bugfix or security fix, maybe you just leave it. I think they’re working on making updates more informative.
