Anyone Still Using Keytronic Keyboards?

Just curious are there any fans of Keytronic keyboards still out there? I recently came across one of their classic mechanical-feel models and was surprised how solid it felt compared to newer budget options. If you’ve used one recently (or in the past), what’s your experience been like? Are they still worth grabbing today for typing comfort?

I am a fan of solid-feel, clickety-clack, keyboards.
After my old IBM (original 5170 AT), Northgate Omnikey (ceased production) and Keytronics (all pulled from recycling bins at company) keyboards died, and trying a couple of Logitec membrane wireless keyboards (now in emergency standby), I am very glad I found the Das Keyboard around 15 years ago. For me, the best keyboard experience yet.

Interesting. I have a Das Keyboard too (4 Professional model), and it’s nice for a modern keyboard, but the Cherry blue keyswitches just don’t feel as nice to me as the buckling springs on the IBM Model M keyboards.

The Das Keyboard has some nice modern features that make up for it though: stylish black color with aluminum top, extra keys (particularly the sleep key, plus a volume knob), a USB cable, and 2 USB ports that are handy for thumb drives.

I wish someone would make a modern Model M with these features, but the newest “New Model M” from Unicomp (pckeyboard.com) is kinda ugly and doesn’t have those extra features.
