Maybe but I was looking at TrueNAS as a full NAS thingy whereas I would just set up my stuff and other than updating just be able to use it without a lot of tinkering and stuff.
When using dockge or the other tools would It be possible to backup config and restore easily (ish) in case of need to restore or APPs breaking?
Also things managed through dockge etc. would not show up in TrueNAS I assume?
With portainer apps config is stored in the portainer config database, dockge stores the compose files it uses in a separate dataset and I never used dockhand so I can’t comment on it.
And yes apps deployed via third party management tools don’t appear in the truenas gui
