Anybody know how to fix the issue after a standard reboot of the system and now is booting into a kernel panic mode?
—-[ End kernel panic – not sinking VFS unable to mount route FS on unknown – block(0,0) ]—-
For reference the server is a Dell XC 630
Booting into panic before you can choose the boot environment, the previous os update?
You can try boot a Live Linux USB and try running memory tests. It could be a failing boot drive, etc.
Just guessing without having better details on the setup.
From everything that I’ve done it’s starting to indicate due redundant boot drives have simultaneously failed currently reinstalling with new drives to see if the system progresses in a good way.
Originally thought it was the raid card that died though, all drives are currently showing, even with the expansion J bod connected, did have one memory stick go bad though that’s been an ongoing issue for a long time in the system has never been bothered with that until last night when I decided to power down the system properly and reboot the next morning to do a few little things and it went into a panic mode.
Haven’t done any updates or anything like that all of that’s been turned off or disabled for automatic updates been running 24.0.1 core audition for the last four months with zero issues
