Cannot see or edit information regarding NICs passed to instances (bug?)

I am testing Fangtooth 25.04 on a test computer, with the goal of eventually upgrading my main server from Electric Eel to Fangtooth.

I have run into a big problem with NICs passed to VM instances. Namely, once I pass a NIC–whether it’s a physical interface or a VLAN–to an instance, there is no ability to see which NIC it is or to edit it. I wonder if this is a bug. Here is what it looks like for an instance (VM) with two NICs that were passed to it, including the default NIC plus one additional NIC:

Does anyone know if this is a bug or if there is some way to see which physical interface or VLAN a passed NIC corresponds to?

There is an open Jira issue to display the parent interface for a virtual NIC on that widget with a fix targeted for 25.10.

Thanks for the information. I probably won’t upgrade my production server until 25.10 anyway, and this sounds like it will be resolved by then.
