Cleaning up snapshot is scale 23.10.2

I know, it had been discussed before, but I can not find the right solution …
Running out of disk space on one of the pools and it seems like from snapshots:

zfs list -o space -r pool

There is 1.55TB of snapshots there and I do not see them from GUI in order to delete them. How would I approach this

  1. What creates them?
  2. Can I just delete tehm if I will figure out where they are?

Should auto snapshots delete themselves after a set time?

Can you not just click on the download dataset in the gui and then “manage snapshots”?

Simplest solution - thank you. That had confirmed that there are just crazy high number of snapshots there. Changed retention for this pool from 2 weeks to 2 days and it cleaned itself nicely. The question remains - why it created so many snapshots, but that is battle for different day.
