Problem/Justification
Installed 26.04 through developer mode. Saw the card as r8169. Blacklisted it. Load the rtl8127 through realtek site. Card shows as 10gbe but transfers are still stuck at 110b/sec
Impact
At this price with low consumption and low heat,it’s the a no brainers winner
User Story
At a previous week nightly the card stuck at 5gbe and got around 500mbps of transfers , but it’s stuck at 110mb
Is it the only card or do you have an additional 1G nic in your system? If yes did you bind the smb service to the 10G card? Otherwise it will still use the 1G card
I have only connected my lan to the 10gbe . The 1gbe is off, also how could link smb to my card?
Edit the smb service and click on show advanced options. Last menu point is the option to add an ip to bind the service to.
Will give it a try, should leave the sync to always , and multi channel off?
sync= always also limit the speed since it waits for each section to be written in sync. usually smb is async.
iperf3 is better for testing speeds
