Copying speed drops after some time

hello,
I have a big problem with truenas scale.
While copying files to the truenas after few seconds copying speed drops
to the drastic level. Like on the picture
Is about every files I try to copy not only when there is a lot of small but the big one.

My computer:
Motherboard msi b450 gaming plus
16 gb Ram
2x ssd 1tb
128 ssd truenas

Hi, it looks a bit like the one I just posted, except that it seems to occur more quickly for you and that the numbers are even worse, but you have half the ram and ethernet speed even if not relatd. It might be the same base issue.

I swaped to hdd drive and its OK. Have anyone similar problem with ssd?

The slowdown is propably because your ssds have either no or just a small dram cache and if that is full the ssd gets slower then spinning hdds

Ah yes, depends on which SSD’s, but some can quickly degrade in write sequential speed after a few Gigs. That’s seemingly what you are hitting there if it works fine with a rotational disk, so not my issue at all in the end.

I tried copying in Windows and its the same issue, probably the disks are damaged or faulty

Not necessarily, I have some SSD’s (entry level like PNY for example…) which have the same behaviour although health is fine like 90+% reported by HD Sentinel.

RealTek NIC? Got a spare INTEL NIC see if that fixes it.
