CPU usage doubled after updating to Electric Eel

Hi all,

I have a fairly modest NAS and have observed a doubling of cpu usage after updating to electric eel.

Specs:
CPU: i3 9100
RAM: 32gb ddr4 2400mhz ECC
Motherboard: ASRock E3C236D2I
Boot pool: mirrored 2x860 samsung evo 128gb sata ssd
Storage pool: 8x16tb seagate exos in raid z2 as a single vdev

I had one app that failed migration which was deluge from the official store due to the ports already being taken. I ended up just uninstalling it as I was using a custom app of it anyway. The apps currently installed are:
Custom apps:
binhex/arch-delugevpn
binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn
binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn
flaresolverr/flaresolverr
golift/unpackerr

Official apps:
kavita
overseerr
palworld server - not running
plex
prowlarr
radarr
sonarr

I have two smb shares/nfs shares and have disabled them which hasn’t made any real impact to the usage. I also had jailmaker installed and have uninstalled it to no avail.

None of the apps seem to be using much of the CPU based on the apps page.

Here’s the cpu usage prior to the update and after the update.

I’m kind of out of ideas at this point. Would it be best to revert to Dragonfish?

Edit: this has resolved itself. Help is no longer required.

Thanks.

Good. Do you have any idea what happened?

PS There’s a mistake in hardware listing. Either it’s a C246 motherboard or a i3-6100/7100 CPU.

Yeah, it should’ve been C246. What caused it was normal functionality. The first thing I checked was if any scrubs were going, but I couldn’t see any. After a reboot and clearing my browser’s cache I could see a scrub was ongoing. I assume that was the cause once I actually saw it was ongoing and it was confirmed when it finished and the cpu was no longer in heavy use. Not sure why it didn’t seem to have any active scrub when I checked that first of all, but oh well. Glad to have panicked over a nothing burger.
