"Critical" Error: Failed to read SMART Attribute Data, but SMART Tests Fine

I got the “Critical” alert a couple days ago “Device: /dev/sdad [SAT], failed to read SMART Attribute Data.”

However, there’s no other flag on the drive and since then, I’ve done a short and long manual SMART test and they both completed successfully. But this alert remains in my listing. Any thoughts?

I’d just keep an eye on /dev/sdad for now. I assume smartctl -x comes back clean?

Everything looks fine to me except maybe this near the start, which may be the source of the error, though on review, I get it when I check other drives of the same model that don’t have this alert on them, so probably not.
