DataSet Data Visible in Shell, Missing in GUI

Hello,

First off, I just want to say thanks for taking the time to read a new users post. I know it can be annoying when trying to help noobs so please bear with me. I am trying to recover my encrypted pool after deleting it. Below are the details.

What I Did
I had an encrypted pool named tank configured as a mirror with two 5TB drives. I backed up the encryption keys and also created a full backup of the pool to StorJ.

Wanting to experiment with a striped configuration, I exported and destroyed the original pool using the GUI (checked all three boxes during export).

What I Did After Deleting the Pool

  • Created a new encrypted pool with the same two 5TB drives, now in a striped configuration.
  • Ran a restore from StorJ using Cloud Sync Tasks.

The Problem

  • The GUI shows that ~500GB of data was restored (confirmed via Dataset Space Management).
  • However, the Datasets GUI doesn’t show any of the restored data.
  • The data is visible in the shell, so it’s definitely there.

Things to Note

  • During the restore process, I was never prompted for the encryption key from the original pool.
  • I’m not sure if the restored data is being properly mounted or recognized by the new pool.
  • I’m happy to provide more details—just let me know what you need.

would have included them but the forum wont allow it. Thanks again for your time!

Hi.

Better to show some screens. Or at least describe it more thoroughly.
