Delete VDEV to reallocate it's single hard drive

I need to wipe all my disks and start over. I don’t see any menu options for doing that.

I’m not worried about data loss, this is a test truenas config. I have two 8TB drives and one 8TB drive that’s in use and I can’t find any option to destroy the data + vdev.

After I’m just going to make a new vdev with all 3 disks. where is the setting to delete a vdev so I can reallocate the drive.

When you export a pool there’s an option to destroy the data.

Thanks, and I figured it out like 10 minutes ago.

Looks like in TrueNAS community it’s [storage > find pool you wanna destroy > export/disconnect] There I was presented with the option to destroy the data and configs associated with it.

Feel like export/disconnect and having the destroy data option tucked away is not very helpful. oh well

I agree. Destroying your data should be easily accessible.

They rejected my feature request to offer a “Wipe Everything” button in the login screen.
