[image] William_Steele: ng out around 220MBps. Curious if the ASM1166 was overheating as it’s heatsink was very hot to the touch I blew a fan over it which gave me another 20-30 MBps . I checked the CPU usage and it was relatively low averaging about 25% across all 4 cores. So the next question…

And I thought I was being crafty by fabricating a mount for an icy dock 2.5 " 4 bay drive cage to the outside of my Dell XPS desk top. Why would I do that? Because the XPS does not have a internal 5.25"…

@William_Steele Inspired by your build here is mine as well. [20250210_220457] I was able to boot from the Wi-Fi card M2 slot with an adapter and I used ICY Box IB-563SSK enclosure with extra power suply for it. [Screenshot 2025-02-10 221835] I am just feeling bad to cut the top for the cables…
