Desperate activating either NVIDIA or ARC GPU for Jellyfin

Thank you for your reply.

I have now removed the Intel Arc card and added another radeon GPU just for display output. No matter if I isolate the NVIDIA GPU or not, it did not get me any NVIDIA App Setting box to tick.
After rebooting Im now stuck without any network interfaces without having changed anything else. Thanks guys again for your effort but Im just done. Im just done

you don’t understand, as far as i can remember there was a conflict if more then one gpu was installed. so you exchanging the intel for the amd card did not circumvent the problem i suspect.
And you can use the single gpu for display output, i’m doing the same with my nvidia gpu and ryzen setup.

If I had the single NVIDIA GPU I could not isolate it because it said that it is the main GPU for Display output and did not let me

You don’t want to isolate the gpu so that doesnt matter.

I have then still no GPU drivers installed and no box to tick for it

Also, at start in loader it sometimes says (depending on my GPU configuration):
vfio: module verifiation failed: signature tainting kernel

I’m honestly out of ideas.
The last thing you could do is create a bug report and let the folks from iX take a look.

Thanks again, but me too. I tested this GPU in my gaming machine so it 100% works. I tried it with only Intel GPU and it somewhat runs but all 4k videos are freezing since 1 second and do not work which could also something else too.

I think I will just install Windows Server, do no Raid but just single NTFS hard discs with SMB share and just do robocopy as backup plus my old DS218 which I use as offsite backup. Too bad it was all for nothing and I wish I could say I learned something while trying and that it was fun but it was nothing but bad luck and misery. After fixing one thing two new issues came up and this was on repeat from start until now. I had already OMV bugg out with no success of restarting it by doing just “apt get update” command and now this. So windows it is, once again :frowning:
